The concept of upcycling and the sustainable values of the brand are shared through the promotion of upcycling workshops in collaboration with various institutions such as the Kunstmuseum Basel, the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, the Swiss Design Awards, the Locarno Film Festival, Social Fabrics Zürich, Textilwerk Winterthur, the Maison Shift Zürich, VU.CH Lausanne, and also online in collaboration with Fashion Revolution and Fashion Open Studio. The workshops starting with an insight into contemporary upcycling in fashion and into contemporary West African artists and their local material culture, followed by a hands-on approach to upcycling and its toolsThe goal of the workshops is to review the participants’ the discarded textiles, garments and other waste materials in order to understand the reasons the items haven’t been worn or are no longer used. The items are transformed with different traditional craft and do-it-yourself techniques like  sewing, embroidery, weaving, dyeing and printing. The tailored-made workshops allow the participants, of different ages, experiences and cultural backgrounds, to give a new value to the creation of unique clothing and to be part of the couture and do-it-together community.

Besides, the brand also offers a series of activities and engagement with recycling, upcycling, sustainable design systems and production through workshops, special projects, lectures and mentoring with schools and universities. Partnerships include schools, universities and institutions such as ITS Arcademy Trieste, IUAV Venezia & Istituto Svizzero di Roma, Accademia
di Belle Arti Rosario Gagliardi Siracusa, HEAD Geneve, Zhdk Zürich, FHNW/HGK Basel, HSLU Lucerne, F+F Zürich, Swiss Textiles and CSIA Lugano.
